AI Literacy Webinar Series for Inset Training Weeks in June

A laptop with the word webinarWith the ever-changing world of AI, it is difficult to keep up and stay on top of the changes. To help, we have put together a series of 5 webinars to explore Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in education. We understand that the last few weeks of the term can offer a bit of breathing space for CPD. To make the most of this time, our AI Literacy webinar series will run live online with one session per day before the summer holidays begin. The full series will run twice in June: first from Monday 17th to Friday 21st June and then repeated from Monday 24th to Friday 28th June.

To accompany the webinar series, we have our monthly AI drop-in clinic on Thursday the 27th of June. The idea is that you can simply drop in and ask questions about how to use AI tools and about the AI literacy training and future training needs.

What we will cover:

The series focuses on what gen AI is and how to use it, AI safety, accessibility, the use of AI tools in daily life, and getting creative with AI. We will look at AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot, and explore AI tools designed for education that can be used for everyday tasks.

We will also discuss and reflect on the ethical, social, and legal aspects of AI, such as privacy, security, bias, and intellectual property.
