Artificial Intelligence (AI) is already having a significant impact on education, and there is much more to come. What will it look like in 2030? Understandably, much attention has been devoted to the immediate challenges and opportunities of AI. However, in this session, we’ll look a little further ahead. Will we have prepared our students for an AI-enabled workplace, used AI wisely to enhance human interaction and creativity, or found ourselves struggling to manage the vast quantities of AI-generated material, processes, and misinformation? We will examine some of the key areas for consideration and the actions we should be taking to ensure we meet these challenges and maximise the opportunities presented.
