Explore our updated mini-MOOC: An introduction to generative AI in education

AI literacy is becoming essential, to help you keep pace with rapid developments in this field, we’ve updated our mini-MOOC, An introduction to generative AI in education, to provide practical and current insights.

The course now includes an introduction to generative AI and its fundamental concepts. It also explores how tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini are shaping teaching and learning, along with ways AI can assist educators.

The course covers the impact of generative AI on education and its practical uses for creating learning materials, managing tasks, and supporting students. It also addresses key concerns regarding the responsible use of AI.

The update also incorporates AI tools into the course materials, including sample AI generated videos that demonstrate AI’s capabilities. We would be interested to hear your thoughts.

By completing the MOOC, you will gain a solid understanding of generative AI, learn how it can impact education, and understand its challenges.

The course takes only 1 hour to complete, spread over a month. It is divided into six sections, offering opportunities for discussions, access to useful resources and articles, and tests to assess your understanding.
